Our Name is Our Mission.

Our Name is Our Mission: Love Chapel Hill with the Heart of Jesus.

This kind of Love is the great reversal, turning the whole story on its head.

It is a protest against the way things are and a vision of how they could be.

It has the courage to cross every line drawn by hate and climb every wall built by fear.

WHO WE ARE

The way of Jesus is more than a faith,

more than a collection of common beliefs.

The way of Jesus is a movement,

leaving a trail of transformed lives in its wake.

It is a grassroots kind of thing, sparked by the strong Love of God.

The kind of Love that gives itself away.

The kind of Love that embraces sacrifice as its most eloquent articulation.

The kind of Love that we have always hoped is real.

We want to be part of something like that.

Do you?

Love Chapel Hill is a church plant

seeking to love God and love people

with all that we have and all that we are.

We are an experiment in grace,

empowering people to creatively express the love

and mercy of God in Chapel Hill.

We are a community of Jesus followers,

living as captives to the truth that sets souls free.

FUTURE PIONEERS

The future of The Church is tied to our roots. Our memory inspires imagination.

Throughout history and around the world, the church of Jesus has always been defined

by this simple DNA: discipleship, mission, community.

  • DISCIPLESHIP

    Jesus leads us into the

    heart of the Father.

Being a disciple of Jesus is defined by The Call (Come, follow Jesus), The Cost (Lay down your life, take up your cross), and The Commission (Go, make disciples). Take the next step.

  • MISSION

    The heart of the Father

    sends us into the world.

The heart of the Father send us out to engage our community with the love of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that every believer is a disciple and every disciple is a missionary. Get engaged.

  • COMMUNITY

    The Holy Spirit binds

    us together in love.

Christianity is intensely personal, but it is intentionally communal. It is a shared journey, a fellowship commissioned to love one another as Jesus has loved us. Get connected.
