Our Name is Our Mission: To Love Chapel Hill with the Heart of Jesus. This kind of love is the great reversal, turning the whole story on its head. It is a protest against the way things are and a vision of how they could be. It has the courage to cross every line drawn by hate and climb every wall built by fear.
Join us for Church in the Arboretum this summer as we worship our creator in His beautiful creation. This is an opportunity to be present with Jesus and each other.
The worship service starts at 10 am every Sunday.

Refreshments will be provided.

Love is more than our name. It is our mission, the very essence of who we are and everything we do. For we love because He loved first. We ask you join us in mission to Love Chapel Hill with the Heart of Jesus. Embrace the rejected, the outsider, and the forgotten to know they are loved.
One of our Marks as a church is a Reckless Love that the Gospel is a love that gives itself away. It is our mission, the very essence of who we are and everything we do. Our Love Mission Team was formed to ensure our mission to Love those in need is a part of our rhythm of partnering in our community to serve those on the outskirts and love them as Jesus calls us to do. We will have monthly opportunities for you to participate in Loving Chapel Hill with the Heart of Jesus.
If you want to know more or would like to join the Love Mission Team, reach out to Pastor Joel.
We continue to pray for peace in Ukraine, for the defense of the oppressed, and that war may cease. As homes, families, and cities are being separated and destroyed by the advance of Russia's aggression, there are now over 1 million refugees fleeing Ukraine for safety. We've been praying also for ways to express the heart of Jesus to those impacted by war and learned quickly this week of a small ministry on the ground, making a big impact by receiving refugee families in Moldova and getting them safely to Romania. New Hope Eurasia normally does work throughout the region, serving orphans and people living in poverty, loving them with the heart of Jesus.
We invite you to financially support their work by giving to them directly or give to LCH (put "Ukraine" in the comments), and we will do one larger gift all together from our Church family. Whether $10 or $500, your gift will enable the ongoing work they are doing for those directly impacted by this war. Learn more about their work.
One expression of love is stepping into the gap for another. Whether it is delivering food to someone, providing masks, helping someone move, help in LCHkids, any other opportunities we would love to have you. We encourage you to join us in mission of loving Chapel Hill with the Heart of Jesus. Please click HERE if you want to know more.
Currently, we would love help with:
-Cooking meals for those in need
-Willing to chat and encourage others
-Volunteering for our In-Person Services
-Volunteering in LCHkids.
LCHkids are on a journey to Meet God, Meet with Friends and Meet the Needs of Others.
LCHkids is a ministry that leads and serves children from birth to 5th grade. If you have a heart for the young, our excellent LCHkids teachers and administrators would love to have you join the team.
Our friends at TABLE are mobilizing to care for kids who are food insecure. They are particularly in need during school closures, like we are experiencing now. They need out help with food, money, and time.
Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...
